Volvo trucks were added to the TREV-2 Group’s fleet, which in winter are equipped with a front plow, a base plow, a side plow and spreaders, while in summer the trucks tow trailers or dumpers.
For the maintenance of state roads in Jõgeva County, the TREV-2 Group has added the Volvo trucks to its fleet, to which Pro Lift has installed a flexible and reliable superstructure.
These are TREV-2 trucks, which are characterised by their superstructure flexibility, which means that the trucks can be modified according to the season.
Versatile solutions for every season
Winter equipment
- the trucks are equipped with a front plow, a bottom plow, a side plow and Epoke spreaders.
- for the first time, a tractor truck has been fitted with an under-plow, which can also be used to roughen the road.
- The spreaders also come with smart EPODATA/EPOTHERM software that automatically adjusts salt levels and allows real-time settings changes for efficient and environmentally friendly maintenance.
In the summer, the trucks are adapted to carry tanker or tipper trailers.
The trucks are based in Põltsamaa, Jõgeva and Mustvee, from where the trucks go to maintain the county’s state roads.
Training for the correct use of equipment
At the handover of the trucks, Volvo Estonia’s driver trainer Koit Kolganurm conducted a driving training. Pro Lift sales managers Andrus Malva and Hendrik Soots presented the possibilities and use of the superstructure.
