It is a swap-body chassis truck with a superstructure designed and installed by Pro Lift OÜ.
The solution was developed in collaboration with the client, taking into account the daily logistics of waste transport, where reliability, smooth operation, and environmental sustainability are all key factors.
We installed an AJK hooklift on TJT’s new Scania chassis truck, enabling the handling of swap containers of varying lengths. We also added a hydraulically adjustable underrun protection system from ALMIC, which can be controlled from the cab, making safety operations more efficient and convenient.
Both the hooklift and the underrun protection system are integrated into a single AJK control panel, allowing the entire superstructure to be operated from one point. This streamlines the workflow and saves time, especially in situations involving frequent container handling.
The base vehicle is a Scania CNG chassis truck that runs on compressed natural gas. This solution helps reduce emissions and supports TJT’s goal of moving toward more environmentally sustainable waste management.
Additionally, a compact 90-litre Padoan oil tank has been installed on the vehicle, with a depth of only 180 mm, positioned behind the cab. This is a space-saving and reliable solution, particularly well suited for vehicles with limited installation space.
