The Volvo FH demo truck combines long lifting reach, heavy-duty transport capability and flexible operation. The HMF 5020 K6 loader crane with FLY-JIB K5 reaches up to 28.5 metres, while the fifth wheel underneath the removable transport platform also allows the truck to tow a trailer.

The loader crane is equipped with a Scanreco L-MAX remote control and EVS stability control, which adjusts the available lifting capacity according to the actual position of the stabilisers. Stabiliser spread is up to 7,800 mm at the front and 5,000 mm at the rear.
Transport platform, semi-trailer or full trailer
The removable 3,900 × 2,550 × 600 mm transport platform with aluminium sideboards allows equipment and materials to be transported to the worksite and lifted directly into position with the truck’s own crane.
Underneath the platform is a movable JOST JSK SL 20 t fifth wheel for towing a semi-trailer. A rear towing coupling also allows the truck to tow a full trailer. The technical gross combination weight is up to 70,000 kg.
